In Cambodia each year, the Sihanouk Hospital is grateful to have more than 100 medical and non-medical volunteers from around the world serve in our International Volunteer Program.
The International Volunteer Program is crucial to SHCH’s mission to train Cambodian medical professionals. By giving their time, energy and expertise, volunteers help develop the hospital and equip its staff to provide the highest quality care possible.
Individuals interested in volunteering at the hospital are encouraged to send the following to volunteer@sihosp.org:

- Statement of interest & how you heard about our work
- Reference letter
- Proof of current medical status (for medical applicants)
- Preferred dates and length of service
Please note that due to a growing interest in training and teaching at the SHCH, volunteer opportunities are limited. We encourage you to apply as early as possible in order to secure available opportunities and preferred dates of service.
Senior management reviews all volunteer requests, and decisions are based on their evaluation of appropriate fit for both the potential volunteer and for the hospital.
