HOPE worldwide manages the Sihanouk Hospital Center of HOPE (SHCH), located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The SHCH provides medical care and community-based services to disadvantaged populations, as well as continuing education and training for health care professionals.

In Phnom Penh, HOPE worldwide also operates seven Medical Centers, which offer medical and surgical consultations as well as lab, diagnostic, pharmacy and pediatric services.

The HOPE worldwide Medical Centers were established to meet the growing need for affordable, high-quality health care in Cambodia. All proceeds from these centers support the Sihanouk Hospital Center of HOPE’s free medical care for Cambodia’s disadvantaged.

With almost 500 staff members, 95% of whom are Cambodian and have received high-quality training, the SHCH and its network of medical centers provide health care to more than 300 people per day.

More than 3,600 medical professional have been trained at the SHCH, and more than 100 visiting foreign volunteers visit each year to support this training. Some of the services offered by the hospital include: emergency care; inpatient medical treatment; surgical care in gastroenterology, oncology, and orthopedics; diagnostics; laboratory services; mobile clinic services for families in outlying villages; HIV treatment and wrap-around services; and treatment for TB & Malaria.
